First and foremost, great site. I love the pics and the fair commentary. This is an awesome site and you should be commended.
I do have one issue however. You have a racist and hateful site under your links. I do not know if you are aware of it or not. It is labled Scranton political times. It discredits this site emmensly. I hope you do the right thing by not supporting such racist filth. Thank you.

First, thank you for your praise. I appreciate all the feedback I recieve from my readers. Second, I am aware of the comments recently made by Joseph Pilchesky on the Scranton Political Times message board. I published a post entitled “Ignorance” airing my feelings about the subject. That being said, I also believe that the Political Times message board is a valuable tool which encourages open discussion about our city government. By posting a link to the message board I am not endorsing in any way the opinions of it’s users, I am merely giving my readers options.

Keep in mind that the “discussion” on that site is “open” until you disagree with him, and then it closes real fast.

I hope you will reconsider your decision to link your wonderful site to DD’s site. The radio station that Imus worked for did not endorse his comments either but they were smeared just the same as if they did when he made his racist comments. Are you aware of the recent racist post by the Administrator of that site? It was so so vile he was forced to edit himself as he was concerned it would violate the TOS of the host site. Are you sure you want to be associated with such a thing? Are you aware of the posts were they discuss the children and family members of public officials? No.. not just the “adult” children but the paternity of a child under the age of 10 simply because they do not like the child’s grandmother? Are you sure you want to be associated with that also? You will be, whether that was your intention or not it has already happened, read above posts. The connection is already being made, are you sure that is what you were looking for when you first posted at that site? Please reconsider your decision.

Excellent site. You are however limiting your readership by supporting a Racsit, bigoted, self-serving propaganda machine by the name of Scranton political Times. They harp on free speech yet limit it where ever they can. They openly defend the use of racist remarks and consistly degrade the Irish population in the area. Thank you for your consideration and good luck wth this great site! Tiocfaidh Ar La.

Take a deep breath and relax. It’s just a link.

At least throw some quotes around the word “political”. There’s really nothing political at all about the site.

Swaz,
Nice site!
Dont’ take their bait. The people who are calling the Scranton Political Times racist are the same people who refer to minorities who visit Nay Aug Park to swim as “Rif Raff”. They also like to insult people, who at council meetings disagree with the mayor.

Can’t we all just get along? ;o)

“Take a deep breath and relax. It’s just a link.”
So then I assume you would allow a link to any site?

Its funny how the only thing that people can come after is a single word. I DO NOT agree with its use but its funny how that is central to your thoughts. What about the $650,000,000 in debt created in the last 6 years? What about the record setting $84,500,000 budget for a DISTRESSED city that was just passed. Maybe people need to start worry about their city more and not what people say.

Swaz I think this site is great and I will be contributing some great photos I have of the city. If we all think alike then no one is really thinking at all, are they?
